About My Art
Some of my work is accompanied by a certain track of music - (but I will be sending you the whole CD). The track selected was what I was actually listening to at the time of producing the work. So the two really go together! The music helps bring the art alive, and can create a mood or even a spiritual feeling... Each piece of music is only revealed when your piece of artwork is delivered. I feel it adds a bit of mystery and enjoyment to the work. All my art is ready to hang, signed & dated.
I love bold, vibrant and dark colours too! It all depends what mood I am in! But I am passionate about producing work that means something. Every piece I produce has a story...... sometimes emotional.. joyous ..enlightening but always interesting. My work is all about life, for all its trials, tribulations and embracing it in all of its forms.
Each piece is sometimes thought out, sometimes ideas come to me ivia flashes of inspiration, like bolts out of the blue, I usually see lots of colour & then a form of some sorts. Sleep dreaming is also a great time, thats when a good chunk of my ideas come along too. Either way my work always has some sort of connection to something that has been experienced or felt!
Often I am found working until the early hours of the morning. It is a very peaceful time of day! I enjoy working with all sorts of materials; acrylics ,oils, other materials I work with are - wood, metal, canvas and anything I can get my hands on really! I love creating art that people can have an affinity with or can identify with in some way.
