A little bit about me
I grew up in the sixties in south east London. Home was always a very creative environment. My Mother, a trained seamstress, would love to sew and embroider. We were constantly surrounded by an abundance of colour and texture from the materials lying around the house. Silk threads, coloured chalks, paper patterns and scissors were always at hand. I think this is where my passion for all things creative was born. Drawing was my favourite form of creativity. I could easily get lost in my world for hours with my pencils and paper.
1997 was a turning point for me. I decided to take a break from office work and enrolled myself on to art and design course at west thames college. I received an award for creativity and commitment. I then went onto study graphic design which I passed with distinction.
