Brendan Hopper
 Hello and welcome to my Mini Gallery. My name is Brendan Hopper.
I am a professionally trained artist and have been painting since I was a child. I taught Art for 15 years before returning to my own work in 2004. I work predominantly in watercolour but have just returned to oils and acrylics. My subjects are the majestic landscapes of the British Isles. I live in northern England, close to the Durham Dales and the Northumberland coast, and, as well as the nearby Lake District and Scotland, these are my subject matter.
A lot of my paintings include houses where people live and, as well as selling my work through exhibitions and galleries, I have been commissioned to produce paintings of peoples houses,old schools, and places that have fond memories for them. I would be happy to do a commission of your chosen subject.
All of the watercolour's are painted on 100% acid free cotton rag paper and are double mounted. The work can also be bought framed or unmounted, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or requests.
