 Welcome to my website!Hi, I live in the Hertfordshire countryside and indulge myself in art and travel after many hectic years in the fashion business. I started painting about 3 years ago when I joined an art group run by an enthusiastic local artist Reg Burton, I am now completely hooked! My work is varied and experimental, using watercolours, acrylics, pen and wash and pastels to produce a range of contemporary still life studies, landscapes and seascapes. Pastels are my favourite medium; they are so versatile and spontaneous giving me even more freedom to be creative. I have decided to add photography to my website as I love to "capture the moment " whilst on my travels. I have recently had great success taking photographs and having them giclee printed onto box canvas. They are beautifully produced to the highest standard and are gallery wrapped ready to hang. It has taken many months to find a quality to my satisfaction and I think it has been worth the research in finding the best printer to reproduce my work. I also sell hand made cards where I use prints of my photography and paintings, in the the village shop in Hunsdon and at the local exhibitions were I show my work. I will be shortly adding them to the work I have on minigallery. Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my work, I hope you like what you see! If you see any photograph or original artwork which is not framed I am more than willing to have any work framed for you with an adjustment to the cost. I always use the best quality materials and like to pay attention to detail. I am also willing to discuss any method of delivery and am able to despatch to any country requested. I have just opened my own studio which is just about my most exciting (with regard to my art!) achievement so far............ I have to start working really hard now and no time for day dreaming!
