These deserted barns near Turvey in Bedfordshire have provided me with subject material for the passed five years. This picture was painted in the snow just before Christmas 2005. The elder trees made dramatic growth the previous year and their sinewy branches can be seen pushing through the roofs like black flames against the snow.
February 2007 - the dereliction continues and it's time for another painting in the series.
