 A Winter welcome from the atmospheric, ever-changing landscapes of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.'Homecoming Scotland 2009'. It began the weekend of January 25, the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth with celebrations across Scotland. There is a year long programme of events all round Scotland aswell as on the Outer Hebrides. I live on the Isle of Lewis. Come up for Christmas or a Winter break. I have recently invested in an Epson Printer with Archival Epson K3 Inks, guaranteed for up to 75 years. I have already printed some off to around A4. They are all in A3 ivory mounts and bagged up, priced £20 each. In this way, I am fortunate enough to print single prints to order. I also have all my paintings framed in 4''x 6'' small narrow pine frame as a digital miniature print, which are sold at £10.50 each. We have recently started making our own frames in 4cm width natural pine wood, which we lime or paint, or wax and treat. These are usually around 30cm x 40cm for the same sized canvas or mounted watercolour.  |
