Do you want a pet portrait commission? or do you want one for a friend? Just email an attachment of your favourite pet and I will turn it into a loving memory in pastel pencil, pencil, charcoal or watercolour. My favourite medium is pastel pencil and very popular. Here are a selection of those I have done this year 2007. I keep my costs low, just £95 for an A4 with £4 for the mount, If you wish I can offer a made to measure limed pine wood frame, of 4cm width moulding with glass for an extra £20.00

The everchanging moods and atmosphere of the Outer Hebrides is exciting to draw and paint. The changing seasons are fascinating, my favourite being the golden colours of the Autumn. My partner and I have lived in our motorhome for two years, touring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and experienced all weathers.

Flowers and Still Life+

I found the wild flowers of the Outer Hebrides, like dozens of bunches of Primroses off cliff faces were wonderful, but in Sutherland they were the most exciting and colourful I had ever seen. Clovers, were particularly huge and purple, thistles were also very beautiful. But the machair on the Uists was something I had never seen anything like before.

Hebridean Sheep and sheep of allsorts are numerous on the Outer Hebrides, usually found lying on the roadside and walking down the centre of the single track roads everywhere.
Other wildlife on the hebrides includes: deer, otters, seals, dolphins, and eagles, to name but a few
