About The Greatest Discovery
I have dedicated this new piece to our first son Oscar who was born recently. The title refers to an early Elton John song about a young child who wakes one wintry morning to the sound of a baby's cry from somewhere in the house. The child searches for the baby and upon discovering it in another bedroom is told by Mummy and Daddy that 'this is your new baby brother'. My painting relates to this song with life's other 'Greatest Discovery' - that of finding the love of your life...
