'Where they walked before us' is a large painting, oil on canvas, it's subject is the idea of walking through an ancient landscape in the footsteps of those who have been before, and the inspiration for this painting is the wild hillscapes of West Wales. Predominantly blues, through to violet and up to turquoise, with heather tones and ochre. The feel is one of a misty hillside and of wilderness. Expressive and impressionistic.
