Three budgies sitting on a perch, two outer budgies are blue and the middle one is green/yellow.
Cream and blue mount in a blue frame.
This picture was created in watercolour pencils as I find they are a good medium for capturing detail. I was constantly watching and looking closely at our budgie at home to see how the colours blended together and how the feathers were in layers etc.
The picture frame was a frame that I sanded down and re-painted.
