About Boulmer
Boulmer Northumberland, lies between Alnmouth and Craster, both lovely/interesting villages out of the many along this coast. Boulmer though small, lacks a proper habour and the usual attractions of its better known neighbours, but it does retain much of the character of this coast as it was maybe 50 years ago. Lovely clean sloping beach, rock pools, working fishing cobles being launched from the beach, peacefulness, big skies and with all of this coast a biting Easterly wind. Superb! Oil on unstretched canvas.
