Artist's Description

The River Mole runs through Leatherhead in Surrey and winds its way towards London where it joins the River Thames at East Molesey. Follow the footpath westward from Bridge Street to a point just beyond the Mole Business Park where the path crosses open grassland. Turn and look back towards Leatherhead; see how the river flows under a high-arched railway viaduct and meanders downstream.

One of a series of watercolour paintings produced from sketches and photographs captured in the late 1990’s.
