A typical Mediterranean scene in the Ktima (old town) district of Paphos on the beautiful island of Cyprus. The courtyard was an oasis in an otherwise barren side-street, with its colourful plants and terracotta pots, blue shuttered window and matching blue door, rough-cast yellow walls and corrugated sloping roof. Just a short walk from this peaceful scene is the local market, with busy souvenir and lace shops, and fresh produce stalls.
