Priory Quay is a private marina beside the River Avon, with views of Christchurch Harbour and the Christchurch Priory. This painting shows a resident's "Sunseeker" boat moored in front of their four-storey apartment. The commission was a recommendation by another resident whose "Sunseeker" and home had also been painted as a commission by the artist (see "Private Moorings, Christchurch").
