Painting and drawing have always been a lifelong interest for me - I primarily paint in watercolours and pastels, sometimes experimenting in mixing different media.
I find a lot of my inspiration from the countryside around us and some of the beautiful places I've visited both in the UK and worldwide and am never without a camera when I'm out walking . You can see examples of some of my landscape paintings in my minigallery pages.
As an animal lover, I really enjoy the challenge of capturing the character and likeness of someone's pet in pencil or paint and find it especially rewarding to see someone's reaction when I present them with their finished work of art. Although sometimes nerve wracking - it makes all the hard work involved seem worthwhile!!!
