As the sunshine filters through the tracery of trees. light and shade create a feeling of complete harmony and profound peace and quiet.
An elderly gentleman stands taking in the ambiance all around him, leaning gently on a bench seat.
Who knows what memories go through his mind at this time, was he remembering all the lost souls who were killed during the war in which he had served for his country,
Or perhaps the life and times of today, which to one of great years, had so many changes.
I like to think he was thinking happily of his family and how dear they were to him
Dedicated to George William Crowder, a wonderful dad
