Artist's Description

High in the purple hills, the rain lashed gorse and heather gathers a small stream of water, sweet tasting and crystal clear, passes over rocks and pebbles, all the time gaining momentum as it flows downhill
From underground springs more tiny rivulets join in to make a larger river which tumbles downward flowing faster and faster gushing over rocks, in waterfalls
. Eventually the hills give way to lower valleys here a small group of deer move away from the sheltering trees to drink at the waters edge
