 A very warm welcome to the art gallery of Judith Webb.I have been painting for nearly 15 years now, and I am self-taught, so I hope you like what see. Enjoyment for me comes from creating paintings from all kinds of subject. landscapes, sunsets, flowers and animal portraits including wildlife portraits. The mediums I use are varied, oils, acrylics, pastels to pastel pencils, there is pleasure in using each type as they have their own qualities. I see in nature a myriad of subjects, from the simplicity of a single drop of rain shimmering on a blade of grass. To the light and shadows cast by a bright sunny day, filtering through leaves of a tree, creating shadows which dance upon the ground beneath it. These moments in time are what inspire me to try to capture the essence of what I see and transfer my feelings onto a canvas. My preference is to realism. But sometimes I will paint a piece of art, which can best be described fun and funky. So please join me now and have fun exploring my gallery.
