A little bit about me

For as long as I can remember I have always been creative, whether it was sitting on the floor with crayons and chalk as a ‘little person', waxing and dyeing batiks in my Mum's garage as a teenager or painting large canvases in my home with my partner. It is part of who I am and influences how I see the world (sounds a bit corny I know, but it's true). Long term, I would like to be able to earn a living from my art (a little gallery by the sea maybe?) but at the moment it is something I do in my spare time. I am looking at exhibiting locally over the next couple of years and am working on building up a collection of paintings so I am ready when the opportunity arises. Although I haven't exhibited yet, I have sold many pieces through a couple of local outlets and from that experience I know that the things I love to photograph and paint, other people enjoy looking at too. I hope you are one of them!
