A little bit about me
Please make me an offer on my artwork by clicking on the 'negotiate a price for this artwork' option.
I will be leaving this site at the end of March 2016 and so would rather sell off these pieces than relist them elsewhere, so be brave and you may well get a piece of original artwork for a great price.
Follow me on Facebook at Laura Wilson' Artist Page to find out what I am up to next.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have enjoyed my art.
For as long as I can remember I have always been creative, whether it was sitting on the floor with crayons and chalk as a 'little person', waxing and dyeing batiks in my Mum's garage as a teenager or painting large canvases in my home with my partner. It is part of who I am and influences how I see the world (sounds a bit corny I know, but it's true). Long term, I would like to be able to earn a living from my art (a little gallery by the sea maybe?) but at the moment I balance my art career alongside a full-time job. I am currently working on a collection of paintings for my first exhibition in 2014. This consists of both oils and watercolours of seascapes plus a few surprises! I currently sell a range of cards in several branches of Waterstones in Surrey, Middlesex and London, 3 of which also sell my prints. From this experience I know that the things I love to photograph and paint, other people enjoy looking at too. I hope you are one of them!
