A little bit about me
I was born in 1974, for the best part of my life I was raised and lived in Winsford, a small town in the heart of Cheshire. For as long as I can remember I have been sketching and drawing. I was about 3-4 years old when I started drawing cats, birds and dogs for my grandmother. Everytime I had the chance I would get out my pencils and draw. I went through my school years like most other kids not concentrating on any particular subject although I always loved the art class. I left school with very little qualifications and I went on to follow in my father's footsteps and became a landscape garden designer, but i still found time to paint in my spare time. I started my own business in 2001 as a landscape gardener which was very successful for a few years, but in 2008 the recession started to hit and it hit us hard. I had to close down the company. I decided to start painting full time and my love for art had returned. I now paint full time in my studio at home. I live with my partner and we have a wonderful son, who tends to keep my feet on the ground. I am currently studying at the Liverpool college for arts, having gained A level art and design and i am working towards a degree in fine art.
