About Paper Flowers
This is a piece of experimental work, has the subject matter inspired by the women artists, Mary Potter and Winifred Nicholson (wife of Ben Nicholson). The painting is created on beautiful quality stretched, Arches paper and has other paper laminated to certain areas of the surface to give a textured effect. The painting is then completed in watercolour paint. Some areas ot the lamimated surface resist the paint adding to the textured effect.
