A little bit about me
I was born in Germany and have lived there until 1972, when I moved to England to get married, but I often return there to visit family and friends and some of my art has been inspired by the wonderful countryside around my home town of Muehlacker in the South-West of the country.
I have loved drawing and painting ever since I can remember and as the demands of bringing up a family lessened, I have been able to dedicate more time to develop and further my love of art, over the years attending evening classes and art workshops.
It has been a long and absorbing journey so far and I am still learning new skills and experimenting with different media. There is still much to learn.
I am a member of the SAA and several local art societies and regularly exhibit and sell my work in their annual exhibitions.
I have shown my work in libraries in the area as well as local art galleries and have sold both locally and abroad.
Since 2001 I have been running local Art classes for adults as well as watercolour work shops, which are very popular and which I am enjoying very much.
