About My Art
Most of my art is in pen and ink, but more recently I have started to paint in acrylics. This I have found very invigorating when working with colour.
I have found the using these mediums can capture the character and energy of what ever it is I am working on, and try to reflect that in the image that I am creating.
I find that I can capture a great deal of detail with the different styles that I work in with pen and ink, either as a line drawing or a stippled effect with dots. With the acrylics I just try and go with the flow and allow the painting to emerge and develop itself.
I enjoy escaping into my creative art world and have found the more I want to paint then the more ideas of inspiration I receive. It is a great way to relax and escape the outside world where I am totally focused on what I am doing. I do like to take my time and not to rush things along.
My art work is very important and very rewarding to me which makes me happy, especially when I receive positive feed back from others.
