The River Afan, as it flows through the village of Pontrhydyfen in South Wales.
This small mining community was the birthplace of Hollywood actor Richard Burton, Broadway star Ivor Emmanuel and international opera singer Rebecca Evans.
There cannot be many other places in the world, this size, that have produced such talent. In addition to this, only a few miles away the actor Anthony Hopkins was born. There must be some mystical powers in the waters of the Afan!
