About My Art
The main aim of my illustrations is to convey information a realistically as possible, whilst at the same time , creating a powerful image. The best medium to achieve this, I feel, is by using pen and ink. Black on white.
I enjoy the challenging aspects of detail and form within the subject matter. I try to capture as much information and texture as I can and to enable me to accomplish this, very fine Rotring pens are used. (My vision does go a little blurred occasionally after staring at spots and dots for long periods of time, but the end results are more than worth it!)
As a consequence of computer limitations, the images within my gallery do suffer a loss of detail. The original artwork and the Signed Limited Edition Prints; available to purchase, do have greater detail than the scanned images online.
