This is a very textured piece of work. I added creased tissue paper to the board before painting. I looked at the colours and texture of a beach, in a pattern-like way. The colours are bright and built up in layers. The work changes slightly with different lighting conditions. It is currently in a heavy contemporary simple pale wooden frame, which really suits the style. It would be heavy to post this though, so I would consider selling it without the frame.
