About Autumn Blaze
As the heather turns, it transforms the island moors and hills into a blaze of colour which changes in depth and splendour as the light shifts in the Autumn skies. I have endevoured to capture some of this magic on canvas and really enjoyed working with such a rich array of dazzling golds and deep coppers. I have introduced textures into the foreground to give the impression of heather and bracken.
All the sides of the canvas have been painted so that there is no requirement to add a frame. The painting is also coated with artists varnish to protect the artwork and can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth.
It is supplied ready to hang and complete with the artist's authenticity signature on the rear of the canvas, along with contact details.
