About Winter Sunrise
This a semi abstract of a typical winter scene on the island as the 'slow to rise' sun finally makes an appearance from beneath the horizon.
I have introduced various textures into the foreground and included tiny pieces of shells found on one of our many beaches.
The painting comes complete with a pale washed pine frame and is ready to hang. The artwork has been coated with layers of protective artist's varnish and is signed for authenticity.
