About Salt Pans at Dawn
Gozitans still collect sea salt from these salt pans on the north coast of this tiny island. It is extremely hard work. In the bright early morning sun the colours were extraordinarily beautiful reflecting on the sea and the salt pans. We were exremely lucky to have our digital camera with us this morning when we walked our dog along the coast. These spectacular sunrises are not so common as the sunsets that we have nearly every day.
