Theresa Evans
Artist's Biography

VERY BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF ME :-)
I'm an artist, teacher, wife and mother and I studied Art & Design at Didsbury, Manchester Polytechnic (as it was in those days!). I have a B.Ed. Hons. and taught in Manchester schools for a while. In my last bost I was also art co-ordinator.
I'm now paint full time and have exhibited widely in the UK and abroad and now have customers throughout the world. I enjoy regularly participating in group exhibitions and have been lucky to win several awards for my work over the years.
My last solo exhibition 'Four Seasons in the Peak' was in Buxton, in the Peak District. It explored the ever changing colour and mood of this area, where I live and work. I'm currently working towards my next solo.
I enjoy working in watercolour, gouache and pastel. My favourite subjects are landscape and flowers. I have a flower painting website where there a few free flower painting lessons at www.flowerportfolio.com
I am also a Professional Associate of both the International Oil Pastel Society and the S.A.A. (Society for all Artists).
