Theresa Evans
Artist's Biography

VERY BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF ME :-)
I'm an artist, teacher, wife and mother and I studied Art & Design at Didsbury, Manchester Polytechnic (as it was in those days!). I have a B.Ed (Hons) and taught in Manchester schools for a while. In my last post, I was school Art Co-ordinator and curriculum leader.
I'm now a full time professional artist and have exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. My last solo 'Four Seasons in the Peak' was in Buxton, in the Peak District. It explored the ever changing colour and mood of this area, where I live and work. I'm currently working towards another exhibition exploring the many moods of Italy.
I am also a Professional Associate of the International Oil Pastel Society, a Prof. Assoc. of the S.A.A. (Society for all Artists) and a juried member of E.B.S.Q. for self-representing artists. I teach occasional pastel workshops to art groups, clubs, etc. I also teach flower painting and have some free e-lessons on my website (www.flowerportfolio.com).
