Sunshine Fills My Spring Morning

The 7th in a series of new work which has kind of evolved from my fluid inspired abstracts! An original semi-abstract painting inspired by my long country walks this year and created with my love of stained glass very much in mind. I am looking at how the changing seasons colour my own world and have called the series "Colour My World". Inspiration for these pieces has also come from the famous American glass artist Louis Comfort Tiffany whos work I admire greatly. There will be 4 larger pieces sized just as this one and each of these will represent 1 of the seasons, the other 9 in the collection will be smaller and sized at 30" x 30" and each will have a connection with one of the seasons. Painted in acrylic on a deep edged box canvas with all sides painted and ready to hang. This painting represents Spring.
