About Tree Friends
This is an original semi-abstract painting in the form of a triptych (3 Canvasses). In this case the canvasses are very long narrow deep edge canvasses sized at 3" x 30" x 1.4" each. I have given the overall size to include a 3" gap between each canvas when hung, but this is really dependant on how you hang them. Some examples of how they can be hung are in the secondary photos.
This time 'Tree Friends' is in fact three trees, based on some lovely Poplars near my home. These are very versatile and unusual paintings with which the added bonus of having so many ways to hang them gives them such additional interest. Also further colours could be added to them with extra canvasses (and I am always happy to help with this) and the number of canvasses you have can be unlimited!! 3,4,5,6,7,8 or even more!! They would make a stunning statement spaced out and staggered up a stairway for example. They really are so versatile.
Created with acrylic paint and genuine silver leaf they have the lovely added extra dimension when the light catches the silver leaf and gives a lovely reflective quality. They make a very interesting wall hanging and talking point and are a really modern and unique statement in a contemporary home.
