About My Art
Hi, My artwork comes from my heart with feelings about the subject.
I start with an idea or feeling and develop the finished piece through time consuming consideration without knowing how the piece will end up. Thoughts and personal techniques lead me to the creation.
My expressive drawings and paintings are created in charcoal, pencil, oil pastel, watercolour, ink, natural materials, coffee, oil and acrylic paint on canvas, paper, board and steel. I use multi-layering techniques to ensure an intriguing image and a unique piece of artwork.
My new work is much bolder with obvious brush work and in oils. I am also taking more photographs.
Over the last three years I have been selling my art in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. My art now resides around Great Britain, Europe and America.
