Artist's Biography
After a career in IT I returned to education to fulfil my dream of working in the field of visual art and now produce original drawings and paintings with expressive mark making and personal techniques.
Art has taken me down avenues I never thought of going. I enjoy other people's art and I am inspired by new environments. I have worked with people of all ages experiencing mental unwellness and worked with school children to maintain well-being. I am undertaking the Mental Health Nursing programme promoting recovery and have also appeared on TV and been interviewed for a short film. I am very interested in art therapy.
