A little bit about me

Artist's Biography

My self-portrait
My self-portrait
After a career in IT I returned to education, at the age of 38, to fulfil my dream of working in the field of visual art and now produce original drawings and paintings with expressive mark making and personal techniques.

Art has taken me down avenues I never thought of going. In the UK and abroad I enjoy other people's art and I am inspired by new environments. I have appeared on TV becoming a finalist in A Brush with Fame, been interviewed for a short film, worked with mental health patients, disabled children and primary school children and I am soon to undertake a Mental Health Nursing programme to progress my interest in art therapy.

Thank you for your interest.
