Mini Gallery highlights (2002-2012)

Mini Gallery is an award-winning online gallery website which showcases a fantastic range of affordable original art and prints.

Mini Gallery membership is open to talented new, emerging and established British artists who each have all-inclusive annual membership and self-manage professional online gallery space using a secure admin area. All art sales are commission free with purchases made direct from the artist via his or her individual Mini Gallery.

Mini Gallery is an independent small business wholly created, owned and run by Hazel & Chris Storey. As freelancers Hazel & Chris have been responsible for a wide range of website design and development projects for over 10 years as well as running their own online businesses.

Mini Gallery was first created in November 2002. The idea developed in response to enquiries from artists who found that they were not able to realise the potential of the Internet for publicising their art. The website is constantly evolving as we work t to make the most of technology to promote and sell art online.

Mini Gallery has generated art sales across the UK and worldwide. We have a growing number of happy shoppers who have been delighted with their Mini Gallery purchases. As well as sales and commissioned work the site has also brought many other opportunities for the member artists including approaches from gallery owners, publishers and the press leading to regional and national publicity.

Mini Gallery was a Greater London regional finalist in the ShellLiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2004 and a London regional finalist in the 2004 Department for Trade & Industry / InterForum Ecommerce awards.

Mini Gallery has been featured in 'Woman & Home' magazine, 'Red' magazine, 'House & Home Ideas' magazine, 'Web User' magazine, 'GoldLink' magazine for Goldsmiths alumni, the 'Daily Mail' and the 'Daily Mirror'.

Mini Gallery has been included in the widely acclaimed 'Writers' & Artists' Yearbook' published by A & C Black and 'The Artist's Yearbook: All the information and advice you need to get ahead in the UK art world' published by respected art publishers Thames & Hudson. The website has been given excellent reviews by The Good Web Guide and 'Internet Works' as well as achieving a bronze award from 'Web User' magazine.
