Watercolour Workshop: Simple Steps to Success
|
Two of our talented artists were spotted on Mini Gallery by publisher Dorling Kindersley last year and their art is now featured in a new book for artists - Watercolour Workshop!
Peter Williams "I was thrilled to receive a complimentary copy of Dorling Kindersley's new 'Watercolour Workshop' book this morning. They contacted me last year via Mini Gallery to ask if they could use a couple of my watercolour paintings - Corn and Between the Showers - in the book. They paid me for two, and I'd all but forgotten about it. Today the book arrived and I find that both have been used several times in the book, one a double page. A great boost to my confidence and self esteem!"
Publisher's blurb: "This title is for those who have always wanted to paint but don't know where to start, create artworks of your own with maximum success and minimal frustration. Essential techniques are demonstrated in 12 step-by-step projects, while the overview feature keeps you on track, showing the entire project sequence. Written by practising artists, you will be encouraged to create your own style and develop skills that will breathe new life into your paintings."
